Rounding the lighthouse and Anacapa Arch at the east end of the island... Done this before but I never get tired of it. Those are pelicans on the arch.

As we turned into the Landing Cove we were greeted by this fellow. The cove is popular for diving, has beautiful kelp and of course the famous stairs to the top of the island.

Somewhere along the coast of this island, we were told the cliffs were covered with pigeon guillemots, a bird I have not seen up close. The cliffs seen here are covered with birds - one of which may be the cliff in question.

Another excursion to the Channel Islands, this time to circumnavigate Anacapa for wildlife viewing. Conditions at sea were good. Here, the inevitable dolphin pod as we approached the island...

I don't know why there are so many squirrels on the beach in Ventura, I just know that there are. Perhaps someone can tell me how they got here? And what they eat? And what they drink?
