long time no causeway

It had been a long time since I crossed the Lake Pontchatrain Causeway. This was almost certainly the first time I did so while holding a bouquet of hydrangeas. It was good weather for crossing what for many years was the world's longest bridge. That's Metairie at the very end of the road and New Orleans to the left. We turned right to visit our friend in Kenner.

Sometimes my phone takes extremely detailed insect photos, like this moth in Folsom, LA. Other times it refuses to focus on anything that's not a human face. Not sure why the focus is so unpredictable.
