disposable flossers wrongly disposed
It was around this time that I began photographing one of my top ten pet peeves: plastic flossers thoughtlessly thrown to the grown. I'm all for oral hygiene but this is disgusting, terrible for the environment, and should be punishable with steep fines.
The Twist on Main
The mocktails at Twist on Main were good but on the sweet side. The food on the other hand was excellent. Also the atmosphere was a bit dark, so even though I enjoyed both, if I had to choose, I'd say all in all I preferred the experience at Bank of Italy.
Bank of Italy Cocktail Trust
In search of a good mocktail, I think we did well with this minty concoction at Bank of Italy Cocktail Trust in downtown Ventura. I also liked the light, quirky design and relaxing daytime atmosphere in this renovated former bank.

"Eucs" of Casitas Springs
One good thing about getting stuck in traffic in Casitas Springs is that it gives you an opportunity to photograph these eucalyptus trees.
