glimpses of Old Route 66

We stumbled up this segment of Old Route 66 when we stopped for gas and lunch at the Ludlow Cafe in Ludlow, CA - east of Barstow, where we also had glimpses of the Mother Road.

    Even if MY food was nothing to write home about, it was worth the stop for the building alone.
