An African Tulip Tree, Spathodea campanulata, the way it looked in October 2020 (above) and exactly one year later (below). It may be late blooming due to a cool summer, but sometimes I think these Southern Hemisphere trees get confused. Also, I can't believe I didn't blog about this tree last year, but apparently during the pandemic this blog took a huge hiatus between June and November!
