Anyone who knows me knows that I am a train enthusiast as well as a travel enthusiast and that the opportunity to ride an Australian train, especially a fabled train like The Ghan that runs through the Australian Outback, ranks very highly on the scale of opportunities. And so we were very happy and fortunate to take the southern leg of The Ghan from Adelaide to Alice Springs.
