Maisonneuve

One cannot walk ten feet in Montreal without encountering this word "Maisonneuve". What is Maisonneuve? It was a guy. A guy named Paul de Chomedy, Sieur de Maisonneuve who founded Montreal in 1642. Above, the Maisonneuve Monument at Place d'Armes.
