"Poutine" is Montreal's signature comfort food. Since it's usually slathered in meat gravy, we tracked down the vegan version at the very nice LOV restaurant. The posters below were seen at a more casual cafeteria; I thought they were funny. "Plusieurs Saveurs Disponibles" roughly translates to "several flavors available".
The vegan poutine was worth a try. However, the vegan cheese curds didn't quite cut it for me, not even close to the taste and squeak of real cheese curds.
