While heading home along the Eastern Sierra we popped into Manzanar. I had been here previously in 2005 and hardly recognized the place. Many of the barracks have been reconstructed. The site is managed by the National Park Service but is free to visit. For Mrs. this was a first-time visit.
It was definitely eye opening!
