vinegar weed


Mr. was pleased to encounter a specimen of vinegar weed (Trichostema lanceolatum) with its unforgettably intense but not unpleasant smell. Unlike the pepper trees, this one is native.

    I don’t recall knowing about vinegar weed prior to this trip. I could be wrong.
