It's always a pleasure to dine at the 29 Palms Inn Restaurant. The famous hearts of palm cakes (on the right) were better than I remembered; the linguini and salad were okay but not the holy grail. Still, it was a wholesome, hand-crafted meal in a warm, pleasant space. Also a plus: no driving required, just a short stroll on a cold starry night.
