A book about an Englishman who hiked the entire length of the Grand Canyon in 1963. A good book but it was time to move on so I sent it to a friend. I guess technically Colin Fletcher was a Welshman who ended up living in in Carmel Valley, CA and got hit by a car near his home there in 2001, the complications of which led to his death in 2007.
Wow- many coincidences in that story. In a way. I suppose.
