Otis House

I really enjoyed touring the historic Otis House in Fairview-Riverside State Park near Madisonville, LA. I had seen the film Eve's Bayou years ago, and the house and grounds in the film made a strong impression on me. Later I visited the park without realizing that it was the location in the film. So it was a pleasure to finally put it all together and experience a place that is so archetypally Louisiana up close and personal, as they say.
