It turns out that not only am I great lover of bisque, but that I had stumbled upon one of the bisque capitals of the world. So I was whisked across the bridge to Newport, to a place called Brick Alley Pub, where I was served an absolutely memorable bowl of bisque. I should add that the two best things about great bisque are the flavor and the color. We couldn't help wondering if that bisque-colored pipe was some sort of bisque pipeline.
