cone nosed katydid

Sometimes while in Louisiana you notice an unusual insect on your car, and that insect seems to be - upon doing some research - a cone nosed katydid.

    As someone who has been called "Katydid" on more than a few occasions, I did not mind learning about this previously unknown specimen of katydid.
