Brakey Gate

 

Another important discovery that day was the Brakey Gate, which I'm told has been there for many decades. The road is closed except for emergencies such as fires. Below the gate one passes some well-perched homes and finally city hall. From there it's easy to get back to the botanical gardens parking.
