These photos don't entirely do justice to what was a surreal experience. Imagine driving through Albuquerque in the early morning and seeing the sky fill with hot air balloons. Yes, New Mexico is famous for its balloon festival, but to the best of our knowledge this was not that time of year.
It was really something special.
