The English Tea Room in Covington, LA. The cuisine was English (Branston pickles anyone?) but the outdoor heat was Deep South. We went here twice and it was so busy that the only seating was outside. They have the most extensive tea menu in town, so if tea is your thing, this is the place.
I agree- it is a mix of two worlds. I sure could go for some of their raspberry chai right now.
