In a city with more churches than I can keep track of, the Circular Congregational Church stands out for its beauty and architectural distinction. It was built in 1890. Seen in the distance behind it is St. Phillip's Church, built in the 1830s and supposedly the city's oldest.
It was a remarkably lovely church, among many lovely churches.
