The decision to go to Santa Barbara Harbor proved to be a good one. We had a clear view of the cruise ship (Seabourne, above), and also saw that passengers were being tendered to the wharf rather than the harbor. This meant that the harbor was not overly crowded, but rather a pleasant, breezy place to be on a hot day. We took a nice stroll down the breakwater and used the insanely clean restrooms at the maritime museum.
Shhhhh. The clean bathrooms at the Maritime Museum need to remain a secret. No one knows about them except us. That is why they are always clean and empty.
