I've gotten ahead of myself. Before we went to the New Vic Theater, there was another visit to Santa Barbara. It started with this re-visit to the Blue Owl restaurant. My first visit was a positive experience, but this second one presented a surprise. Due to a cruise ship happening to be in port, the place was packed - on a Wednesday. We finally got a table, and by the time the above photo was taken, the place was half empty. Go figure.
We need to check the cruise ship status before we go there again. Or just go for a very late lunch.
