No regrets about staying in Ketchikan's finest hotel: Cape Fox Lodge. Perched on a hill above the downtown, it exceeded my expectations in many ways. Not only does the lobby double as a gallery of Native artifacts, but the lodge itself is owned and operated by those same Natives. This beautiful property is surrounded by Alaska forest and occasionally gets visits from bears (although the only one we saw was the one below in the lobby).
It was a fabulous place in so many ways.
