Ventura Boat Parade

I don't go to many "boat parades" - none actually, so I have nothing to compare it to. Furthermore it was difficult to see and even more difficult to photograph (and therefore to capture the spirit of). Since I feel that the "boat parade" concept has a lot of potential, I can't help but feel a bit disappointed by this one. Nevertheless I feel that some of these photos point to the beginnings of what could be an enchanting aesthetic experience, if done right.
