What a delight to stumble upon Dart Coffee and its incredibly pleasant "coffee garden". Who knew that Santa Barbara's Funk Zone had such a peaceful oasis? Now we know.

The south end of State Street in Santa Barbara, where it meets the wharf, has been fully renovated and we finally got around to exploring it a bit... along with the wharf, which was unusually photogenic that day.

Douglas Family Preserve revisited

Queensland kauri?
Upon encountering this unusual tree in one of our local parks I did some research and my best guess is that it's a Queensland kauri - Agathis robusta. Can anyone confirm that?
