Brookfield Place

Conveniently located near the ferry terminal, Brookfield Place is a massive office complex and shopping center with an impressive atrium that houses, among other things, a clean and well-run food court. My impression was good due to the lack of crowds combined with views of the Jersey City skyline across the river (below). I must give credit to my brother for showing me this place, the outdoor gardens of which were full of migratory birds. I don't normally associate NYC with gardens and migratory birds, but I stand corrected.
