While not always exactly my taste, I applaud the architectural creativity of this "new" New York along the west side of Manhattan. The city could easily have opted to remain in a time warp but chose a bolder path. That being said, I have no desire to experience "The Edge", that platform sticking out of the 30 Hudson Yards building. At its worst, there is a touch of Vegas in this "new' New York, but as I recall even Las Vegas is improving architecturally.
I agree- a touch of Las Vegas, but in saying that, perhaps with some of the buildings, a bit of the best of Las Vegas?
