Calvary Court

Literally a stone's throw away from CAVA was our hotel - Calvary Court. This was some of the most pleasant lodging of the trip - clean, spacious, attractive and for the most part well-designed. Although new, the design incorporates the look and feel of earlier times. Compared for instance to an Airbnb packed with objets d'art and chinoiserie (but lacking in such basics as a working bedside lamp), this place was extremely functional and comfortable. The only negative: hauling the luggage up to the second floor in the rain - even with an elevator.
