Unlike Melbourne and Sydney, Adelaide's primary botanic garden is not called "Royal", but simply the Adelaide Botanic Garden - I believe indicating that it's governed by more local authorities. Whatever the case, I must say that of the major botanic gardens we visited throughout the country, this one was possibly my favorite. A good blend of Old World and New World qualities yields idyllic results.
