I enjoyed seeing "The Children" at the New Vic Theater in Santa Barbara back in May, and cannot deny that this is a very agreeable venue to see just about any play. In that spirit we checked out "The Thanksgiving Play", a humorous look at the nearly unsolvable problems with creating a Thanksgiving drama, especially from a Native American perspective (the playwright Larissa FastHorse is Lakota).
I also really enjoyed reading about the playwright and the director. It added to the play in my opinion.
