One of the highlights of Ithaca and the whole trip was slipping out of the William Henry Miller Inn early in the morning and checking out the Cascadilla Gorge Trail, which I had read about. What I found not only exceeded my expectations, but blew my mind. This heavenly wilderness is found only a few steps away from downtown Ithaca, and when you're in it you are immersed in another world.
