Walking back to Solana Beach one goes through a nicely tended garden which is apparently part of Del Mar Dog Beach, or Dog Beach for short. Supposedly there is a hiking trail along the bluff here (James G. Scripps Bluff Preserve Trail) so if we ever go back I may need to check that out.
Didn’t we see someone tending to the garden? He looked like a volunteer to me.
