So there we were in the act of getting coffee at the Parkside Café in Perry, FL when someone pointed out that there was an insect on Mrs.'s leg. Whether it was a grasshopper or locust I couldn't say, but whatever it was it clung tenaciously to her pants. It was a most curious phenomenon fraught with mystery and unanswered questions, such as when and where exactly did it attach itself? Sometimes the appearance of a grasshopper is considered good luck. With a bit of work I was able to gently detach it with a stick or leaf.
I guess, in answer to the question of what more could one want besides coffee and old train stations, that answer could be a mysterious insect.
