A downright delightful beach that leads to a trail that ascends a steep bluff that provides fabulous vistas of the ocean, the beach and the bluffs. The British explorer George Vancouver named Point Dume in 1793 after Father Francisco Dumetz from Mission San Buenaventura.
Can’t remember if I knew that or not. I know it now.
