where "Gunga Din" was filmed


In the 1939 film "Gunga Din" the Alabama Hills were used to represent  the Khyber Pass in the Himalayas. I can see the resemblance and why this site was chosen.

    Perhaps I will give the movie a “pass” and just enjoy the scenery used in the movie. Or perhaps Gunga Din will eventually make its way to our movie
