All of these towns in this part of Sonoma County run along the Russian River. We took a stroll on the historic Russian River Bridge in Guerneville, originally built for cars in 1922 and now used by pedestrians. (Seen above is the bridge that replaced this one). We were near a place called Johnson's Beach that might have been nice, but Mrs. detected an unpalatable creepiness.




She certainly did.
