The other amazing thing we saw that night was this. Was it a new constellation we didn't know about? Was it a rope tethering the hot air balloon I saw earlier in the day? It wasn't until the following day that we learned that it was Starlink - Elon Musk's recently assembled string of satellites. Not sure what I think of it, but it's an interesting sight to behold nonetheless.
I wanted it to be a fleet of UFOs coming to pay me a birthday visit.
