We were going for a walk up the road from the Pepper Tree when we heard something glorious: the sound of water rushing. It turned out to be Thacher Creek, which runs alongside the Horn Canyon Trail, a hike we had done a few years back. The best view however was from the bridge on the main road. The landscape was bursting with the effects of the recent rains.
It was sooo nice to see and hear that running water.
