Walking to lunch I glanced down Madison Street and was struck by another grand old historic gothic church - this time the First Presbyterian Church built in 1854. It's the tallest steeple in Baltimore (273 feet) so maybe that's why it got my attention. Baltimore was very hot but any discomfort I felt was offset by interesting architecture.
Horribly hot! Thank goodness for all the interesting architecture, as you say. It helped balance things out.
