A slightly surreal place on multiple levels, the first being the approach to the island via causeway. The second was maybe the presence of bison, although we didn't see as many there as we did at Yellowstone. The main draw for me was the unusual Great Basin Desert scenery.
It IS a nice lead-in to the park.
