The experience of walking right up to the edge of Great Salt Lake struck me as an experience worth having so, after crossing a very large beach, that experience was had. While the area had the look of a public beach, it's not clear if people go swimming on Antelope Island. Kayaking opportunities on the other hand are undeniable.
I would imagine that salt does a number in the kayaks. Also, that labyrinth must have taken quite a while to construct.
