There's no question that, as far as classic national park lodges go, Old Faithful Inn is a beauty. The inside was closed, but that didn't stop the exterior from making an impression on me. Built in 1904 and still going strong, the inn is the largest hotel built from logs in the world. According to the American Institute of Architects, Old Faithful Inn is the 36th favorite building in America.
I look forward to revisiting Yellowstone and visiting the inn with you when it is open.
