Grand Island East Channel Light


The first point of interest on the Pictured Rocks Cruise was the old Grand Island East Channel Light, in operation from 1868 to 1908. This iconic structure is now on the National Register of Historic Places.

    Also, remember the lighthouse keeper and his wife had MANY children when they lived here??
