Speaking of architecture, one of the main draws for us in Charlevoix was the neighborhood with the famous Mushroom Houses, also designed by architect Earl Young. One thing the Midwest is good at, one realizes, is leafy neighborhoods with interesting architecture.
Would have loved to have seen inside some of these mushroom houses!
