I had been looking forward to the famous cruise of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Unfortunately due to its fame the boat was packed with tourists. There were windows where we sat and changing seats was not allowed (which didn't stop some bozos from doing it). That being said, the weather was good and if you focused on the sights beyond the windows it was quite beautiful. (As opposed to focusing on people's shoes, for instance).
Yes, it was a bit crowded, but believe me, compared to what it could have been… we were lucky.
