Burney Falls

Burney Falls State Park: world class falls in the middle of nowhere. Worth the detour into remote northeastern California. Despite the crowd, it was nicely set up: a paved trail down to the base of the falls, then dirt trails along Burney Creek. What's also cool is that the Pacific Crest Trail goes right through here.
