Driving back to town we passed the Coast Guard Station, which struck me as a nice building, and near it a former restaurant called Edgewaters. In town we revisited The Wheelhouse for crab-stuffed mushrooms and Bandon Coffee for afternoon coffee. We also checked out a shop dedicated to cranberries - a major crop in southwest Oregon. In fact, Bandon is known as the "Cranberry Capital of Oregon" and the region is sometimes called the "Cranberry Coast".
