Mount Baker from Anacortes, WA

At 10,781 feet snow-covered Mount Baker dominates the skyline of this part of the world. It is the third highest mountain in Washington state and the second most thermally active of the Cascade Range (after Mount Saint Helens). The famous Mount Rainier, seen in the previous blogs, is the highest mountain in Washington state at 14,411 feet.
