vultures

We knew for years that vultures roosted in the tops of these eucalyptus trees.  I just assumed they were all turkey vultures, but then there was the day that a few of them resembled condors with white marks on the tail and underwing. Since then I'm not so sure. But isn't it conceivable that a condor passing through the area - and they do indeed inhabit the Sespe Wilderness - would spend the night in a popular vulture roost much in the way George Washington would spend the night in a popular tavern while maneuvering during the American Revolution?
