I was powerfully struck by this scenery in Oregon City - apparently the ruins of the Blue Heron Paper Mill surrounding the falls. There had just recently been a terrible fire. Industrial activity at this site dates back to 1829, mostly relating to lumber and paper but also flour. Local tribes purchased the property and hope to rebuild it as a mixed-use venue.
Hmmmm. I don’t remember seeing this.
