If Turtle Bay Exploration Park is Redding's star attraction, the famous Sundial Bridge is the star attraction of the park, and possibly the whole city. No doubt it's a beautiful bridge designed by a real architect (Santiago Caltrava from Spain), and I guess it doubles as a huge, 217-foot tall sundial. Supposedly the sundial is most accurate during the summer solstice.
Well, that is no claim to fame being accurate one day a year. But it is a cool looking bridge.
